It may have taken a few minutes for this light to reach here from the sun, but to the light, it is said to have taken no time. What else in the universe exist in this always now zone, from the beginning to the end?

There is gravity that we are, that for all intents and purposes, always was and will be. We are distilled radiation, light, an can be converted back to light. We are their offspring. Evolution, is the compounded outworking of essences such as these. These come to reveal Creation. We are never actually lost, not from Creation. We belong to The Formula.

Yet we are fully capable of not knowing of our inner or outer immersion in the infinite and eternal. If we do not see the obviousness of It, the ever-present Source of It, we can live and not even know ourselves, nor one another.

Human alienation, abandonment, betrayal, they are all false knowings, for you are never unknown to Life. You are as much if not more a part of life as our sun, a river, the Milky Way. These things are not greater or lesser than you. They are an integral part of you, of every part of you.

We can expect that in coming to know who we are, we will not know ahead of time. We can expect that we have been told things that were best guesses. We can expect that we will establish a truth from our experience, then lose it, or even find that we had judged truth prematurely.

Do not be surprised at any forgetfulness, but seek to remember. When lost, look for landmarks to Spirit. If wise, we can place these landmarks or remembering around our lives. This is something that religion and ritual seek to do at their best. And yes, when it comes to knowing life, you do deserve the best.

Surround yourself with light. With love like ever-active gravity; never letting you go, nor anything else. Yet I can walk past you and not see you. Not be aware of that same light and same attraction you are. And what of all the other Sacred dimensions inside and out that we do not yet except as part of who I am? And you?

We are strangers? Not ever actually. But what we can not see of all that connects us. What we do not admit of all that is one inside of us. Of all we do not comprehend when looking up at the night sky full of stars, not knowing our dreams are part theirs. All that empty space in-between my eyes and these stars is but the fertile nebula’s of tomorrow, yesterday and now. All the place where intention is known. Where definition reveals. Where we wonder, what to do with our lives next.

True:

We were all

one thing

at one time

in one place

this never leaves

Light is itself timeless

yet in effect if has condensed

we imagine the thoughts of light

we travel down photon corridors

we play inside timeless infinity

darkness is space itself

but we imagine

it threatens our existence

but it does not

you are forever

like it or not

Some have suggested that if you wish to know what it is like to live inside a black-hole, take a look around.

We may be living the life of light, of radiation, of whatever manifest these conditions we call life.

If we think about it, we are the definitions of this life, we are eternal in nature yet temporal in interactive experience. No matter where you look, or how you feel, this origin of things is your inheritance.

It is up to each of us whether we restrict ourselves with our subjective blinders, creating a myopic view. We equally can take the expansive view of life and ourselves; that we are meant to be, could not help but be, and are alive now, able and willing to be completely present and accounted for.

I ask this, since just about all that we are initiated at the presumed Big Bang, or Initiation. That energy is still in us. We have come to know, by both theoretical physics and things like fire, that physical things change states of being. Something releases latent energy, and yet it goes on to be something else.

All of this is limited by our perceptual, conceptual and theoretical understandings, we exist in a kind of subjective zone from which we cannot truly exit. Yet nothing, except human made restrictions, stands in the way of pursuing a more objective and presumably more real view of things.

Since we never get out of now, we can speculate on what we were before and will be after. There is much debate and speculation on this subject. We have cultural relativism, where the way we know things seems to us, to be the way things actually are, yet others may contend we are mistaken. They can be viewing me from their own relative subjectivity. There is a sense of safety in adhering to what one knows, or believes one knows. This sense is likely conserved for survival reasons. It does make a certain sense that if we seem to have gotten here by a certain road, it is quite possibly going in the right direction. It apparently has so far. But alas, that may be the question.

ALL THOSE ARROWS POINTING

How many other roads of perception and self identity may there be? What if I identify with my core of being, not just my experiences, but what manifest who I am? What if I identify with the forces of being, as some current and ancient belief systems did? Can I not identify with the more eternal natures of who I am, rather than just the recording and then reordering of experiences by want and need in expectation?

Does not empirical evidence provide that my sense of love, awe, wonder and beauty exist with some deep appreciation for beingness that are not just dependent on the relationships I have known? We seek a sense of belonging and depth to our natures that includes a connection to all things, be it through God or another sense of complete connectivity. When we are alienated, steeped into a sense of separation, we can feel abandoned. We feel that way, for we have gone down some personal road that seems to have a dead end. And yes, society may have played quite a role in guiding our assumptions.

I encourage myself, to feel the greater sense of self; to feel connected to and accountable to the all that is, even if I cannot comprehend it all. I believe that all viable roads lead to this destination, it is the center of our being. I offer that that center never goes away, even when our bodies do. I offer that that center is available to you and me now. That it never abandons us, but it is we who wander off for differing reasons, only to find ourselves somewhere lost.

Yet all viable roads, lead home. One just need discover, how the roads are marked.

but you are in the center of it all.

Just now; always with you, leaving you with a most mighty choice–how will now be?

It might be I like to make lots of others responsible for my now. Might be stuff like; “You make me feel, (blank blank blank!)” or “See how you make me do something I do not wish to do?” Although it would be said much more pointedly, as if you were the one really responsible for someone else’s state of mind. A convenient power vacuum! I’m a defenseless and unwilling victim of you!

But who is the boss of me? You? You are the Boss of my conscious state of mind and so perceptual experience? Afraid not!

If I am missing love in my life. If I am feeling deprived and abandoned of it, just one thing I need to do–love something, love anything, love everything, create the presence of love, and guess what? I’m in Love! It is so simple, we may think it cannot be true. Now is up to you.

That is the power of right now.

You were there at the beginning, and if there is an end, you will remain. Space and time are the illusions, infinity and eternity are but now, as they always will be.

Look around you. Now look inside. All that is is still there. Dimensions warp your own essence back both ways. This is not fate. This is being. Being all the way.

The Alpha and Omega are two sides of you.

Inside you, is the way home.

Before the alleged hyperinflation phase of expansion, we were everywhere at once. We were radiation and in some ways, timeless. What unfolded, from my vantage-point, has every appearance of design, a design that made energy into matter, unfolded it into many types of containers, yet left interrelationships as a dimension of ever emerging definition in process.

In my reflection so far, nothing seems to contradict itself, or self negate. Whatever would, would cease to exist. And that is being generous towards contradiction. This puts us in a seeming paradox, we disagree, have conflict, accidents, and other seeming anomalies that seem to suggest randomness. This randomness or chaos would appear to lack design. It would seem to allow both contradiction and relative annihilation. To my or your always subjective vantage-point, something of existence seems to be open to our imaginations to believe anything we like. How can that be an expression of universal consistency? Hence our existential pondering as to the meaning of life.

The trouble with the subjective is; it is never all knowing. I never am tracking all processes and relationships in the universe. In a sense, we know so little it might as well be called nothing. Our seeming knowing is relative to our subjectively perceived associations and abilities to comprehend parts of processes. I could be the worlds smartest person, and know less than next to nothing. We may each posses profound abilities relative to what we know as a self, or assume as a species, but the mind is still profoundly destined to be the subject of speculation, not pure knowing.

THE SECRET SELF

We do have an intrinsic secret; we are an expression of everything that is. We have the ability to know a connection to all knowing, the grand process of being, because we are each a manifestation of it. No matter how lost I am, how confused. No matter how wrong things seem. (And knowing lies are claimed to be truth.) No matter any dysfunction, a perfect union dwells within. Like it or not.

This once and future perfection is with us now. What we do with our secret union, will define what we become.

I was young once
looking up at the untouchable
the tall ones
the ones who know stuff
they are impossibly far away

there may be siblings and fun
and competition
some are older
or younger
way different in ways
unknown.

it takes forever for this to change
you all of a sudden
after permanence it seems
grow above your sisters
some power they had over you

kind of

school goes on

never to end
then it is over
now you can drink
the forbidden fruit;
command your own attention

you do notice the drive
to be noticed
to connect
as if it were the one
mandate
time scripted,
the one thing
real
but in ways
invisible
like that place

may seem to pause.

You are still too young
to really notice
what is happening to time;
its reference is growing
its moment is shrinking
the same amount of time
is never the same

the young can here this
questioning its validity
immortality still seems possible
despite mounting evidence
erased in the daily mirror

It will shortly be
a year from now
then one hundred
then one hundred thousand
a billion
it will come to pass
as it has
and is

i bring this up
for perspective.
your genetics will be
essentially unknown then
in many respects
the material you covet
and wish to attach achievement
fulfillment, accomplishment to
glued onto your legacy
will be immaterial
silent as tonight’s
ancient starlight
stranded between
then and now
and the clouds you see

so you must ask
a deeper thing of this life
what permanent part of it
do you know?
Do you have an answer
to the most obvious question?
How do you relate to that
unconquerable happening?
Can your face turn in
instead of only out
arms moving second by second
to something finite
and gone?

Does each moment make sense
to that eternal place
a still well within
all things
even
the palm of your hand
pulling the arm of reason
until the last second
breaks in two?

This is a primal redeemable truth: I am not outside my consciousness, my awareness, not how I can seem to assume. This may explain how an inner focus to awareness can produce self centeredness, a solipsistic view of life where all that is important revolves around me and what I want or need or think I am. Highly alienated individuals can be self consumed by a focus concerned with only their own needs and desires.

What degree of awareness is always the same or under the influence of body dynamics or that of outer environments? I am not certain that question is answered quite anywhere completely (exceptions being possibly meditation, prayer, or what is called at times cosmic consciousness, a sense of union with the Source of Being). Am I a modem, some simple interface between inner DNA, chemistry, memory and the unknown outer world in which I try to detect what to trust?

WHAT WE DO

It seems societies-culture has let a lot into my perception, to get its hands on my steering wheel, usually for the better but at times for the worse. These very thoughts are highly influenced by the words they must pass through, words from a historical-collective mass, language. Not to mention what mom, dad, aunts, uncles, grandparents, kids at school and siblings and all the rest had to say to and about me, and how they assumed I was someone they knew, and truly understood for a while. I might have liked some of it and not approved of some, but am left what I got.

This outer influence is powerful stuff. It is not guaranteed absolutely to be right or wrong, but it may have set up much of my parameters of outer interactions in times to come, or even my whole life. I then have something akin to an assumed self and an assumed place in life. It may be one I always enjoy, have trouble at times with, or one I find much difficulty in. Especially if heartache, stress unrelenting, and a negative view towards the happenings to, of, and in my life seem to haunt my memories and occurrences around me, I might need a change. But where can change come from?

THE POWER POINT

How can I have any control over a seeming relativity of fate that surrounds me with what I am disappointed in? How can what I have always known reverse its apparent course (or curse) and become something more wrapped around love, beauty and respect, a place of inner peace that has so far eluded me? People, Spiritual institutions, even advertisers, claim to help me to do this, but what is the fact of the mater?

THE POWER PLACE

WELCOME TO NOW!

Now is never gone from you. I am always here. Here with the Source of whatever keeps all that is going. I am undeniably connected to one vast Being. As if a drop in a stream, I may not know where I begin and end, or if those borders are actually the limiting walls of what and who I am. But no matter who the real me is, the guy writing this, I can be quite certain I have adopted notions about me that are true, false and between the two. I am in all likelihood being someone I am not, in the sense that others are in effect living through me due to the judgement’s I have let in about myself in part thanks to them. We are all in this boat. We may not come to grips with the truth that we are all in this boat together, but we are. I do not see or feel the end of the universe we are in.

Change only happens now. If I cannot change some oppressive sense I have about life, I am by inference, not being present with it. The power of being is right here in the now, with you. If I let go of my painful past assumption, I come into the new place, the place of transformation. Many religions and belief systems have a key in the now to unlocking the real me and letting go of the old one. The easiest one to grab a hold of is forgiveness. It embodies the act of present free will, to cut away deterministic like continuations.

FORGIVENESS IS ABOUT BOTH ME AND THE ALL THAT IS. IT IS ABOUT FREEDOM TO BE TRUE TO LOVE.

I believe the arts are symbols of a key to now, especially music, and particularly if one is a participant in music making. Music is one art most all humans do, and many other creatures perhaps. We could say we worship Being in a union of sound in mind and heart. It can be a participatory union with the transcendent qualities of ones identity and place, coming right out of now.

Forgiveness has this musical quality; where I am an active participant, and whatever judgement I am holding for whatever reason, is released by allowing a reconnection to occur with Source. It is cathartic because it acts like a catalyst in that way. Forgiveness is then a form of Higher Consciousness and resulting understanding, where instead of being trapped in a self centered cause, one embraces a higher Cause, which we could call a Grand Self awareness.

WHEN WALLS BUILT WITH ILLUSIONARY ROCK AND MORTAR FALL

For you, my words here are abstractions. They might seem true, but you cannot be certain I do what I say. That is just a well, since your freedom to be more present in the Now, is really all up to you. My statement that we (I), can be cut off from the fullness of present life, is quite possibly agreed with by you. The question is, how one finds that essential center when one really needs it, or if I can stay there and still deal with past and future speculations I seem required to attend to to figure out my path through life.

It quite possibly will require practice to undo past programming. Our programming is as if an addiction holds us for better or worse. One could say we are addicted to eating and breathing for good reasons we would not wish to end. Breaking harmful addictions are a matter of making a declaration to change right now, and keeping ones power there no matter the pull to fall back. That is when the present moment comes into full potential.

Harmful assumptions about life have possibly become neurally “wired” in, and require you to have some tools to rewire around the problematic issues. This may be aided by symbols, rituals, or talisman that act as reminders of where Center is and what you hold as a known Sacred Point. My self realignments can be aided by reminders of my direction when I get lost, landmarks to Home.

This has been one example of a space-time portal. A description of just one of the ways the weight of the past can be lifted from individual consciousness. It involves what we could call new but always present needs; the need for empathy, compassion, understanding unstopped by ignorance, that some of what people do to us may not be liked and understandable, but was done for what seemed to them, a sound reason, a reason quite possibly based in separation.

The separation may have originated in them, or me, or my impression. But what we call wisdom, or spiritually transcendent being, rises above the implied alienated subjective, reaching through space and time, to touch the Eternal Source. Now is that closest place, where the answer to separation is found, and the Song continues on.

Fortunately, you are right here with It.

beyond a word

tuning into now

all senses converge

a gift is in my hands

Walls are holding back

imagination behind them

everything I can see

is alive as I am

it implies

an amazing similarity

when now is everywhere

and love in a glass of gravity

holds what is here now invisibly

close in manifestations care

Objects lose their edges

a kind of sameness

flows between

into the presence

the One Grand Thing

I am as you are sure

defined and unique

yes, in perspective

but solid only in

our One Core

.

It takes coming home

from senses here and there

touching what comes to each of us

when now comes just as much

from everywhere.

This light. It exist in timelessness, ignoring our cradle in fleeting moments.

Like starlight, this light will, if not caught, go on to travel eternity, pass stars, eclipse space itself and still be just as old as now, its journey haven taken, no time.

We do not know if our thoughts exist this way. If consciousness is somehow timeless, moving through space and yet, always now. What other parts of energy, matter or being, does not share this “centered” quality in some ways? We may very well have existed as light once, become distilled into space and so stretched into time.

I find the matter that we are both distilled light and returnable to light, parental prerequisites to being, they “genetically” spell out what we are descended from, or otherwise made up of. For whatever reason, infinite and eternal qualities are inherent to each one of us. Something transcendent and possibly multidimensional exist in our own being. We are astounding children of Creation.

The light at the end of the tunnel, may well be us returning home.
